Thoughts on Rafayel?

Am I the only one that feels like Rafayel is possibly the most misleading and possibly even manipulative character in the game? Like… we see glimpses of his dark side and the things he’s keeping from MC but as far as I can tell, MC never sees that side of him. Like that whole thing with him meeting that person from Ever after we get taken from The Nest, that was just never explained or brought up again? I don’t know I haven’t completed all of Rafayels anecdotes or 5 stars but I feel like he’s got a whole other thing going on that completely contradicts his personality and how he acts around MC that’s just never spoken about? I might be wrong, I’ve just been in a rabbit whole, and Xaviour is in the same boat. That red collar that flickers around Saviours neck has Ever’s logo on it aswell as the guy Rafayel was talking to after everything happened in the Nest right before Sylus’s storyline (the guy had a pin on his coat that was the Ever symbol) am I going crazy or is there something I’ve missed?
